The journey continues…
After growing up in Sault Ste. Marie and racing XC way too seriously I moved to Colorado where I picked up an ultra endurance addiction and a habit of climbing to the top of things. I swore I wouldn’t leave but when a company came knocking down my door to offer me a new life designing bikes in Connecticut how could I resist? Life is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the ride.

I’m back from the Transrockies and had an absolutely amazing time out there. I cant give enough praise to my partner Mike Garrigan for being the ultimate teammate. Alone he would have been fit enough to stay with the top teams every day but he was fully committed to getting our Sobe Cannondale team to the finish line as quick as possible even if that meant pushing me up a hill or giving me a 30 minute draft on the flats.

As for the race itself, it was the most amazing week I have ever had. Every day was so simplified that only required us to wake up early, eat as much as we could and ride all day long in the remote mountains. What more is there to say?
